I have used and applied much of following Adult Learning Theory Models as I designed and developed previous e-learning courses in my Instructional Designs using Articulate Storyline 360.
ADDIE Model of Design
Kirkpatrick's 4 Levels of Evaluation
Gagne's 9 Events of Learning
Bloom's Taxonomy
Malcolm Knowles Andragogy
There is much similarity in each of these theories of learning. We always look first for who is the audience and what is their motivation for learning?
Next, what are the client's training goals and objectives "as they would state them", as a part of the needs analysis process.
My task in this stage is to listen to the requestor and identify what are the training objectives, as I would describe them, to assist the client in defining the outcomes and scope of their proposed training; are there behavioral changes that are desired as a result of the training?
