I have extensive experience in supporting manufacturing in a variety of industries.
Most recently, I was an instructional designer supporting medical equipment manufacturing and operational processes, for competency training development. I created e-learning modules to teach operators how to operate complex heat-sealing machinery. I also taught how to perform difficult procedural steps in a cleanroom environment and trained students on process flows involving many detailed steps, forms, and computer software operations including SAP and Documentum. I also created competency quizzes to ensure knowledge transfer, behavioral change and to test student proficiencies. I specialize in writing about and training personnel on software applications in an AGILE environment.
In aerospace, for the Apache Helicopter Company, I was a manufacturing Liaison Engineer interfacing with designers, technicians and lab personnel and managers. I oversaw the production of flight test equipment and wrote documentation for configuration management control. My experience at Boeing was very rewarding, where I was teamed with a diverse, cross-functional software development team on a military project.
In the semiconductor field, I supported manufacturing and research by writing manuals and repair procedures on complicated semiconductor manufacturing ovens, and developed detailed chip specification technical notes.
I love entering into a new technical assignment that allows me to learn and teach the minutia of a task, as well as to explain the global view of manufacturing operations.
